Peak 1
Introduction to Line Management ('Train the Trainer')
The 3 Peaks programme is a leadership development programme designed to support our current and future leaders from across health and social care system within Buckinghamshire.
Peak 2 and 3 cohorts are mixed across the system, but Peak 1 is slightly different, as some of the information included is more Place-based. Peak 1 is designed to be delivered as a 'train the trainer' package, where organisations can then deliver the training in house, to support their own leaders after attending the Peak 1 'Train the Trainer' course.
Peak 1 Introduction to Line Management gives a complete overview of what a manager needs to know, and covers both technical development and relationship skills. At the end of the programme, learners will leave with a thorough understanding of what best practice is and how to be an effective manager in health and social care in Buckinghamshire.
Line managers play a crucial role in the development of our people. Management skills have an enormous effect on employee attitudes, commitment, motivation, and satisfaction – and these are key to our organisation. After all, happier and engaged colleagues deliver better care.
Who is the programme for?
The 'Train the Trainer' programme is aimed at learning development leads/managers, HR professionals, or anyone that is confident to deliver training to small cohorts of internal staff.
