Peak 2

Team Leaders Programme for Health & Social Care across Buckinghamshire.

Team leaders have a huge role to play in building engaging working environments and leading teams to achieve optimum performance, whilst navigating the often challenging demands of the Health and Social Care context.

This exciting new programme aims to support team leaders to thrive through building their knowledge and skills in a range of leadership areas. If you currently manage a team or will be in the next 6 months and want to develop your skills further, then this could be the programme for you.

Alongside a cohort of your peers, you will undertake 7 training sessions over 2 days, and gain 12 hours of CPD in topics including:

  • Principles of leadership
  • Building high performance teams
  • Assertiveness and confidence
  • Cross cultural communication
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Coaching skills
  • Organisational change management

ILM recognition means receiving an official printed certificate, an ILM Recognised digital credential.

The training will take place over two days of face to face training, with a handbook provided.

Participants are required to attend all the training days for their cohort to complete the programme. If you are unable to make a date, you will need to join that day with another cohort in order to complete.

New dates for 2024 will be released soon...
