This renowned leadership programme is now available for booking.

We are welcoming applicants from across Health and Social Care within Buckinghamshire, to make this a truly inclusive programme and to build relationships for the future.

The course will offer an excellent opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with others, outside of your department, to share knowledge and ideas.
  • Develop your awareness and application of your leadership skills.
  • Learn theory, skills and knowledge to apply in day-to-day leadership practice.
  • Consider the next steps of your development after completing the programme.

Modules will include:

  • Personal Leadership

Developing an understanding of your own personal leadership styles and those of your colleagues, including MBTI.

  • Leading Through Change

The only one thing that is constant is change; this module will focus on the people involved in change, how it affects them, and how that can be the difference between success and failure in a project.

  • Team Leadership

What makes a team, and what keeps a team together and performing at its best? How can we move from a working group to a real team, and reap the benefits that this brings to both ourselves and to those we support?

  • Leadership Improvement Presentation

This will be your opportunity to share with others including your manager what you have learnt and what you will implement using these newfound skills.

  • Coaching and Mentoring

Developing knowledge and gaining practical experience of tools and techniques that will support you when interacting with others. This includes the Level 3 Advantage Coaching & Mentoring qualification, with a little additional work.

  • System Leadership

How do we work better together for what the future holds? We are all part of a system and if we want to improve the services we provide to patients, residents and clients, then we must work together to improve pathways and processes.

The training will take place over 6.5 days of face to face training.
