  • Why health coaching?

Imagine a world where people felt listened to, valued, and empowered to make decisions around their vaccine choices and other health issues.

There may be many barriers in their lives including psychological, physical and social which prevent people from making informed decisions.

  • Benefits of health coaching

Health coaching helps individuals identify goals that align with their personal values and circumstances, tapping into their internal motivation and commitment.

It is a non-judgemental approach that focuses on building trust and rapport and empowers individuals to become more active participants in their health and wellbeing, by acknowledging what matters to them.

This has the potential to reduce the reliance on over-stretched services by giving people the skills, knowledge, and confidence to better self-manage.

  • Who is it for?

This programme is open to all in the Thames Valley ICB area, including those areas of high deprivation and historical areas of lower uptake across the Thames Valley, including Aylesbury, East Oxford, High Wycombe, Reading, Banbury and Slough.

We aim to gain a great mix of roles from across the system from Health, community, social care and the VCSE workforce.  We are practically keen to target professionals who work with our CORE20+ cohorts and those areas of the population who are not accessing our services.
